$150.00 per 50 minute telephone or teletherapy session.
Insurance
I am currently not accepting insurance. I will gladly provide you with any documentation you need to be reimbursed.
Payment
I accept cash, check and all major credit cards as forms of payment. I also accept payment via this page. Payment is required before each session.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
Good Faith Estimate
A good faith estimate of your charges is required by law. My estimates are simple and based on two areas: private psychotherapy and forensic social work expertise. The following are currently the stated prices for each.
One hour long therapy session $150.00 per session
Due at time of session
Over one hour will be prorated at same cost $150.00 per hour
It is difficult to predict how many sessions will be required when you call for an appointment but since I am private pay, we will discuss a good faith estimate when you call.
One hour portal to portal for forensic expert services. Harm Reduction Psychotherapy consists typically of three sessions plus any charges for interviewing friends, family, employers, etc.
Reports typically take from 5-6 hours to write and are $150.00 per hour. Extenuating circumstances could increase the time taken to write a report. This additional time will be discussed with you in advance.
Portal to portal court testimony
A trip to court includes prep time, prep time with attorney, travel to court and time spent in court waiting to give testimony, testimony and travel to home base. It is billed at $150.00 dollars per hour.
There are many different kinds of court cases and testimony. The biopsychosocial assessment and testimony and time required varies widely depending on the case. Please discuss the circumstances of your case and be aware that time spent on your case will be charged at $150.00 per hour.
Expenses may be charged for a court case if travel is required. The same fee of $150.00 per hour portal to portal will be charged.
